Personality Pottery
I took a ceramics class to fulfill a general education requirement. I quickly discovered a deep love for my new outlet of creative expression. Unfortunately, my relationship with pottery was only able to last in my later half of college. For my final semester, I took an independent studies course. I proposed a project and spent the semester revisiting forms and perfecting an idea. Personality Pottery is a collection of work dedicated to six friends who spend three years of college “radventuring”: going to concerts, getting tattoos (or discouraging them) and studying the Bible with one another. This unlikely squad of future doctors, therapists, artists and ministers was a group of people that were always by my side. My final project included a six place, four-piece dining set all inspired by the people that mean the most to me. Enjoy!
